Our last Pause Day took place on 25 November 2020.
The purpose of a ‘Pause Day’ is to give children an opportunity to stop and reflect during an ‘off-timetable’ Religious Education day.
During this unprecedented time and another lockdown, children need opportunities to explore their feelings, emotions and opportunities for discussions.
Children may have ‘big questions’ about what has been happening and need the space and time to ask questions, explore answers and different viewpoints while they begin to make sense of what is happening.
This is our first of three Pause Days for this academic year. This term we have focussed on constructing kites to symbolise freedom and courage and signify our hopes and dreams.
Take a look at some of our wonderful work!
