Monday 5th October we held our first ever Cardboard challenge day. We’d devoted the day to making and designing games with cardboard boxes. The inspiration for this global challenge is on the challenge website. There is a wealth of fun activities linked to it but the simple idea is that children make and designed their own arcade games out of big boxes.
How much fun can you have with a cardboard box? Well it turns out loads… Spy boxes, windmills, towers, telescopes, board games, costumes and much more. Thank you to everyone who dropped boxes to us. It was a memorable day with repeating. We need to say a public thanks to the cleaners who did describe our adventures as an exhilarating experience to clean up after. Sorry!
