Bracknell Forest Cross Country Relay Report – BY Serena
On Friday we took a carefully selected cross country team to represent our school at the Bracknell Forest Cross Country Relay. Our team was made up of year 4,5 and 6. There was both a girls and boys relay race. Great Hollands recreational ground and woodland area played host to what proved to be a challenging 1000m course. All children ran extremely well. We overtook many people and enjoyed the running. Even when we were worn out and exhausted, we persevered and kept going. Thankfully(unlike other years) it wasn’t dark when we finished. We might not have won but we all tried our best. Special mentions for incredible laps need to go to Imogen J, Ava E and Serena J. For the boys Adam S, Zack Carswell and Bentley Taylor deserve huge praise for their never give up attitudes and continued support of the team even once their laps were complete.
