Year 5 had Egyptian day last Friday! We baked Egyptian bread (which was very yummy) and made a special type of Egyptian paper called papyrus paper, which we then wrote our names on! We also got to take a virtual tour of some of the most famous Egyptian tombs, which was very exciting. We all wore our best Egyptian costume and had a lot of fun learning about our topic!
